Meet Mrs. JIMENEZ

Mrs. Jimenez

Hello! My name is Andrea Jimenez, and I am excited to be your child’s 5th grade teacher for the 2023-2024 school year here at Temecula Preparatory School!

My family and I relocated to the Temecula area about seven years ago, and we are loving it here. My husband and I have two children who are Temecula Prep. graduates and  both are currently attending college.

I am a graduate of Chapman University where I earned a Master’s Degree in Teaching, a Multiple Subject Credential, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science with an emphasis in sociology and psychology. I have worked in the field of education since 2002 with my first job being a kindergarten paraeducator. Since then, I have taught several grade levels between K-12. This will be my 16th year teaching and my 7th year teaching 5th grade at Temecula Prep.

I feel so honored to be a part of this fifth-grade team here at TPS.  We work well together, keep our lessons consistent with each other, and look out for one another's students. Your children are in good hands.  We have so many growth opportunities and exciting educational escapades planned for our fifth graders.

I am very passionate about the mission here at Temecula Preparatory School. I look forward to helping the students leave a heritage of virtue, wisdom, and knowledge. High expectations and encouragement are keys to my students’ success. My hope is to instill in my students the desire to be life-long learners and to strive for excellence. As well, I understand that teaching is not just imparting education; it’s also being a mentor and a role model for so many young minds. I strive to be a good role model to my students.

Thank you so much for entrusting me with your child's education. I look forward to an amazing year!

Sincerely,

Andrea Jimenez
